Chrome, aluminum, stainless steel, and bare metal surfaces are stunning when polished — and disappointing when oxidized, pitted, or dull. Jax Metal Polish is a professional-grade metal polish that removes oxidation, tarnish, water spots, and surface corrosion from chrome, aluminum, stainless steel, and other metal surfaces, restoring a mirror-bright shine that makes metal look brand new.
At Chicago Jax Wax, we use Metal Polish on exhaust tips, chrome trim, aluminum wheels, billet accessories, stainless steel accents, and any bare metal surface that needs to be brought back to its full brilliance. It works equally well on automotive, marine, and household metal surfaces — one product for every polished metal application.
What It Works On
- Chrome trim & bumpers — removes oxidation and water spots to restore mirror-bright chrome
- Aluminum wheels & billet parts — polishes bare and brushed aluminum to a deep, reflective shine
- Exhaust tips & headers — removes heat discoloration and carbon buildup from stainless and chrome exhaust
- Stainless steel trim & accents — restores clarity and shine to stainless surfaces
- Marine metal fittings — removes salt corrosion and oxidation from marine hardware and fittings
How to Use
- Clean the metal surface thoroughly and allow to dry before polishing
- Apply a small amount of Metal Polish to a foam applicator pad or clean microfiber cloth
- Work into the surface using firm, overlapping circular motions
- Continue until oxidation and tarnish are removed and the surface becomes bright and reflective
- Wipe away residue with a clean microfiber towel, turning frequently to a clean section
- For a deeper shine, apply a second coat and repeat
- Protect polished surfaces with a metal sealant or wax to slow re-oxidation
Pro tip: Work in small sections on heavily oxidized metal — the polish works best when it can dwell and break down oxidation before you buff it off. On lightly tarnished surfaces, a single pass is usually all it takes to restore a mirror finish.
