Getting tire dressing onto the tire evenly — and keeping it off the wheel and brake caliper — requires the right applicator. The Pro Tire Dressing Applicator is a professional-grade foam applicator designed specifically for tire dressing application, with a contoured shape that fits the curve of the tire sidewall and a dense foam core that holds and releases dressing evenly for a consistent, streak-free finish every time.

At Chicago Jax Wax, we use the Pro Tire Dressing Applicator on every tire detail because it makes the difference between a sloppy, uneven application and a clean, professional result. The foam is firm enough to work dressing into the tire surface without absorbing too much product, and the ergonomic grip gives you the control to apply right up to the wheel edge without overspray or mess.

Why It's Better Than a Rag or Sponge

  • Contoured foam fits the tire sidewall — applies dressing evenly across the curved surface for a consistent finish
  • Dense foam core — holds the right amount of product without over-saturating, reducing waste and mess
  • Precise application — apply right up to the wheel edge without getting dressing on the rim or caliper
  • Ergonomic grip — comfortable to hold and control during application
  • Easy to clean — rinses out between uses and holds up through repeated applications

How to Use

  1. Clean and dry the tire thoroughly before applying dressing
  2. Apply a small amount of tire dressing to the applicator — a little goes a long way
  3. Work the applicator across the tire sidewall in overlapping strokes, applying even pressure
  4. Apply a second coat for a deeper, longer-lasting finish if desired
  5. Allow the dressing to absorb for 2–5 minutes before driving
  6. Rinse the applicator with water after use and allow to air dry

Pro tip: Apply tire dressing in thin, even coats rather than one heavy coat. Multiple thin coats build a more even, longer-lasting finish and dramatically reduce the sling that heavy applications cause when you drive.
